There's a special place in my heart for navy blue and red. Add in argyle, crabs and monograms and I'm in my happy place! It isn't very often that I get pics of the cupcakes 'in action', but I just happened to have a friend at this baby shower and she was kind enough to send me a few pics. The cupcakes went really well with the decorations....actually, the decorations went really well with the cupcakes! Yay!
Loved making these with my friend Audra! She helped me with some gender reveals and then we worked on these guys. So fun! And they turned out great!
I saw it coming!
I never get to see the the excitement on the faces when the kids see their cupcakes for the first time. This one would've been pretty awesome. Her Mom said she likes all things pink, princess and sparkly! Making the carriage made me think how cool it would be for that to be a cake pop! Keep watching for that one!
So maybe I'm taking my new found love for cakepops a little too far. I've made more pops this week then I've made since I started this little adventure 5 years ago! And that's without any orders! The girls are loving it, and so is the office staff at school and maybe a happy pregnant friend at my husbands office. So far there's no end in sight for my newest obsession...the possibilities are endless!
I made these pumpkin pops, although they're not pumpkin flavor, I love how they turned out! I dusted them with a little gold luster dust for a shiny finish. Oh and a Hershey bar as the stem. Yum!
I was scared, terrified, when I got this order! Any pattern, logo or character, in my opinion, has to be spot on or it just looks ridiculous. I was very happy with the turn out. I ended up using a Martha Stewart stencil with black food coloring, and a tiny amount of water. Phew! Glad that ones done!
My daughter loves polar bears, so how fitting for polar bear cake pops for her 7th birthday! I think next time I'll add mustaches and maybe a scarf!
I've said many times that making cake pops is a love hate thing for me and that if I take an order from you, you must be a good friend of mine! Well after reading many different blogs on the elusive cake pop, I tired a new method. Instead of crumbling by hand, or rubbing the cut cake pieces together, I tried the processor route...and WOW! What a difference, It creates a much denser cake pop, which in my opinion is KEY to it staying on the stick. The rolling goes smoother and the actual ball itself is perfectly smooth and round. My love is renewed!
One of my favorite Holidays to make goodies for!
I don't get...I really don't! But it is so popular right now!Read More
These have made my favorites list (which grows all the time!).
I love this guy! He was my favorite out of all the elephants I made for this Circus theme order.
I started working with these toppers months ago! And finally, finally got an order for them! I'm super excited to see the set come together.
